Bonobo Announces New Album 'Distance in Static' and North American Tour

Bonobo, also known as Simon Green, is set to release his upcoming album, Distance in Static, on September 11 through Ninja Tune. The album will feature a diverse range of collaborators, including Arooj Aftab, Joy Crookes, Nilüfer Yanya, Ichiko Aoba, Nicole Miglis, and Aanya Martin, with lyrics in English, Urdu, and Japanese. Green incorporates historic Iranian samples and guzheng recordings into his production, creating a unique and eclectic sound.
The lead single from the album, "Me and You," has already been released and showcases Bonobo's club-inspired style. The album will be supported by a new live show across North America, designed in collaboration with visual artist Pierre Claude. The tour will kick off on November 5 in Austin, Texas, and will include stops in Los Angeles, Toronto, and Chicago.
