Deadly Terror Attack in Sharon Region: One Fatality, Five Injured, Suspects at Large

A terror attack in the Sharon region on Sunday morning resulted in one fatality and five injuries. The attack began in Kochav Yair and continued through Tsur Yitshak, Tzur Natan, and Selait. The IDF and Israel Police apprehended one terrorist, an Israeli Arab from Tayibe, and are searching for the second suspect who fled to Tsur Yitshak. Home Front Command issued terrorist infiltration alerts in Tsur Yitshak and Tzur Natan, advising residents to seek shelter. The terrorists' car with an Israeli license plate was located. Emergency responders confirmed one man dead at the scene, with two seriously injured and three moderately injured individuals transported to nearby medical centers. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Police Commissioner Danny Levy, and IDF Central Command chief Maj.-Gen. Avi Bluth are assessing the situation on-site. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stated that if the terrorists are captured alive, they will face execution according to the law.
