Brush Fire Spreads from Los Angeles to Kern County: Evacuation Warnings Issued

A brush fire that started in Los Angeles County has now spread into Kern County, prompting evacuation warnings. The Macy Fire has burned around 1,400 acres near N. 110th Street W and Highway 138 in Antelope Acres before moving into Kern County. Evacuation warnings have been issued for areas south of Rosamond (zones KRN-152-A and KRN-153-A) by Kern County Fire. Residents who are not under evacuation orders are advised to stay indoors, close all doors and windows, and turn off their AC units.
