Tony Awards 2022: A Tribute to Chicago and More Broadway Highlights

The upcoming Tony Awards will feature a special tribute to the iconic Broadway musical Chicago, with performances by Queen Latifah, Pink, and other talented stars. Queen Latifah, known for her role in the 2002 film adaptation of Chicago, will be joined by Pink, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Alex Newell, Adrienne Warren, Julianne Hough, Whitney Leavitt, and Dylan Mulvaney on stage. This tribute marks the 30th anniversary of Chicago's presence on Broadway.
In addition to the Chicago tribute, the Tony Awards will showcase performances by the original Book of Mormon cast and actors from various productions such as The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon!, Titanique, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Ragtime, and Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. Pink will serve as the host for the Tonys, which will take place at Radio City Musical Hall in New York and will be broadcast on CBS at 8 p.m. ET, with streaming available on Paramount+.
