BTS Sweeps the 2026 American Music Awards: A Night of Triumph and Gratitude
BTS had a triumphant night at the 2026 American Music Awards, winning in all three of their categories. The K-pop group, consisting of RM, j-hope, Jimin, Jung Kook, SUGA, V, and Jin, took home Best Male K-Pop Artist, Song of the Summer for “Swim,” and the prestigious Artist of the Year award. In their acceptance speech, RM expressed gratitude to their fans, known as ARMYs, for their unwavering support over the years.
J-hope also thanked fans for the overwhelming response to their new album, mentioning the success of the song “Arirang” and the album's chart-topping tracks. The group's pre-taped performance of “Hooligan” from their Las Vegas tour stop delighted fans watching the award show.
