Banned from Tesco: Bailey Esmonde's Three-Year Criminal Behaviour Order

A prolific shoplifter, Bailey Esmonde, has been prohibited from entering any Tesco supermarkets or shops in Derby as part of a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). Esmonde was caught stealing two cans of cider from a Tesco Express store in St Peter’s Street and later arrested for possession of cocaine. He pleaded guilty to both charges and was given a conditional discharge for 12 months, along with compensation for the theft. This incident led to an extension of his existing CBO, originally imposed in 2024 for a previous theft at a Tesco Express in Alvaston, to include all Tesco shops in Derby. CBOs are issued by criminal courts to address persistent anti-social behavior and criminal activity.
