Julio Foolio Murder Case: Alicia Andrews Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison for Manslaughter

Alicia Andrews, one of the individuals involved in the shooting death of Florida rapper Julio Foolio, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted of manslaughter. Julio Foolio, also known as Charles Jones, was killed in Tampa in June 2024 while celebrating his birthday. The incident occurred in a hotel parking lot near the University of South Florida, where Jones was shot multiple times. Prosecutors claimed that the defendants collaborated to track Jones to different locations before the fatal shooting. Andrews, along with four other suspects, was found guilty in a separate trial, with the jury recommending life in prison for the other four men. Andrews' attorneys argued that she played a minor role compared to the other defendants, but the judge upheld the 15-year sentence. The four men convicted of first-degree murder will be formally sentenced on June 22.
