Toronto's Summer Concert Season: A Spectacular Lineup of Shows and Festivals

Toronto's outdoor concert season is set to kick off with a bang this summer as the RBC Amphitheatre and Rogers Stadium gear up for a packed schedule of shows. The RBC Amphitheatre will host between 85-90 shows, making it the busiest amphitheatre in North America. Meanwhile, Rogers Stadium will see a record-breaking 20 shows, including five performances by Bruno Mars to open the season.
Despite some cancellations and postponements by other artists due to "blue dot fever," Toronto's concert scene remains strong. Acts like Luke Combs, Foo Fighters, Usher, Chris Brown, BTS, Chris Stapleton, and AC/DC are set to perform at Rogers Stadium, while Rush will make a triumphant return with four shows at Scotiabank Arena.
Improvements have been made at Rogers Stadium to address issues from the previous year, including better transit options, increased parking, and enhanced pedestrian pathways. A new app and signage will help concertgoers navigate the venue more easily, and efforts have been made to minimize traffic in residential areas.
In addition to the concert lineup, Toronto will host music festivals like Luminato, NXNE, Toronto Jazz Festival, and VELD Music Festival. The All Things Go Festival at the RBC Amphitheatre will feature Kesha, The Beaches, and Lorde, with a focus on inclusivity and celebration of the LGBTQ community.
While OVO Fest's return is uncertain, the city is gearing up for the FIFA World Cup games at BMO Field, with no shows scheduled at the RBC Amphitheatre on match days. The Boots and Hearts Music Festival at Burl's Creek will celebrate its 15th year with headliners like the Jonas Brothers, The Dixie Chicks, and Rascal Flatts.
New events like the 2026 FIFA Fan Festival and the TOgether music and wellness festival aim to bring diverse performances to Toronto, with artists like Alessia Cara, Feist, and Broken Social Scene taking the stage. With a lineup that promises something for everyone, Toronto's summer concert season is shaping up to be one for the books.
