Rwandan Genocide Suspect Félicien Kabuga Dies in Custody in The Hague

A Rwandan suspect linked to the 1994 genocide has passed away in a hospital in The Hague, Netherlands, while in custody, according to a U.N. court announcement on Saturday. Félicien Kabuga, aged 91, was charged with supporting and financing the genocide that targeted Rwanda's Tutsi minority. His trial commenced in 2022, almost 30 years after the brutal 100-day massacre claimed the lives of 800,000 people.
