BTS's Stunning Comeback: A Visual Tribute to Oldboy in '2.0

BTS, the global K-pop sensation, has made a stunning comeback with a visually captivating release that pays homage to a renowned South Korean film. Their latest music video for "2.0" showcases intricate choreography, cinematic storytelling, and a nod to cultural heritage, marking a bold new phase after their break. The video, featured on their new album Arirang, draws inspiration from the iconic movie Oldboy directed by Park Chan-wook, recreating its memorable hallway scene with the members showcasing synchronized moves to overcome their adversaries.
Throughout the video, BTS transitions through various atmospheric settings, including a dimly lit corridor, a gritty bathroom with mirrors, and a significant room reminiscent of the film. The visual journey culminates with the group returning to an elevator, changing into modern attire as a reference to the lyrics "We on that brand new," before concluding in a high-rise environment. The seven members of BTS, namely RM, Jung Kook, V, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, and Jin, have achieved remarkable success with their latest album Arirang topping the Billboard 200 chart and their lead single "SWIM" reaching No. 1 on the Hot 100. Arirang, their first album in over five years, features tracks like "Body to Body," "Hooligan," "Aliens," and "Merry Go Round."
