Man of Tomorrow: Behind-the-Scenes Look at Filming in Atlanta and Cast Updates

Filming for the upcoming movie "Man of Tomorrow" directed by James Gunn has been ongoing in Atlanta for a few weeks now, but no set photos have been leaked online yet. Actor Frank Grillo, who plays Rick Flag Sr. and Superman in the film, has been sharing some behind-the-scenes clips on Instagram. Recently, he posted a first look at Nicholas Hoult reprising his role as Lex Luthor, showing both actors in the makeup chair getting cuts and bruises applied. It seems like Luthor and Flag will be involved in some action scenes in the movie. The plot of the film will revolve around Superman and Lex Luthor teaming up to defend the planet against Brainiac. Other returning cast members include Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, and Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher. New additions to the cast include Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Maria Gabriella de Faria as The Engineer, and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart. Adria Arjona is also set to appear, possibly as Maxima or Wonder Woman. Gunn mentioned in an interview that the movie's core focus is on the dynamic between Clark and Lex, with their contrasting personalities and values. "Man of Tomorrow" is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 9, 2027.
