Israel Establishes Special Tribunal for 2023 Hamas Attack Perpetrators
Israeli lawmakers have passed a bill to establish a special tribunal that can sentence Palestinians involved in the 2023 Hamas-led attack to death. The legislation received overwhelming support in the 120-seat Knesset, with 93 lawmakers voting in favor. The move aims to hold accountable those responsible for the deadliest attack in Israel's history. The new tribunal will have the authority to try and sentence individuals linked to the Gaza conflict.
