Medical personnel continued to evaluate the patients late into the night. Nine individuals were taken to Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, while three others were transported to Integris Health Edmond Hospital. Various law enforcement agencies, including the Edmond Police Department, Oklahoma City Police, Edmond Fire Department, and Oklahoma Highway Patrol, responded to the scene to assist.
Despite the alarming incident, authorities have stated that there is no immediate threat to the public. Arcadia Lake, where the shooting occurred, is a popular spot for fishing and boating activities, located north of Oklahoma City.
