The firefighter, Donald Faulkner, risked his life to save 52-year-old Latasha Collins during a dramatic rescue captured on body-worn cameras. The incident took place on Davison Street near Petoskey Avenue on the city's west side. Collins sustained severe injuries, including fractures, third-degree burns, and internal bleeding, which necessitated multiple surgeries.
