Barry Manilow's Road to Recovery: Updates on Rescheduled Las Vegas Shows and Tour Dates

Barry Manilow has once again rescheduled his Las Vegas shows due to his ongoing recovery from a lung cancer diagnosis. Despite receiving positive news from his recent doctor's appointment, Manilow is not yet ready to return to the stage. He expressed gratitude for the progress he has made through training and exercise but acknowledged that he needs more time before performing in Vegas in May.
In December, Manilow announced his cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery to remove a cancerous spot on his lung. This led to the postponement of his 2026 farewell tour dates, initially set for January. As his recovery continued, he had to delay his Vegas residency in February and March, as well as the Northwest U.S. leg of his tour planned for April and May. Despite these setbacks, Manilow is now cancer-free and looking forward to resuming his tour in June.
The singer is optimistic about returning to the stage for his June arena shows in the UK, coinciding with the release of his new album, "What a Time," after a long hiatus of 15 years. He also plans to make a comeback to Las Vegas' Westgate, a venue he considers his "home away from home," in July. Fans can anticipate Manilow's triumphant return to performing after his health challenges, as he continues to prioritize his recovery and well-being.
