Kicking off the season with a bang, the Akron RubberDucks will host a Star Wars Night on May 1, featuring electric blue jerseys and post-game fireworks. The following night, fans can enjoy a nostalgic trip to the past with the Melonheads suiting up for a night of kid-style fun and a Backyard Baseball card pack giveaway.
On May 3, fans can meet and greet mascots like Webster, Rubberta, Orbit, and Homer at the Akron RubberDucks game, with kids 12 and under getting the chance to run the bases. The Lake County Captains will celebrate Hispanic heritage on May 5 as Los Picantes de Lake County, with music, culture, and in-game entertainment.
The Cleveland Guardians will kick off their season with a home opener on May 8, followed by a Kyle Manzardo "The Manzo-lorian" bobblehead giveaway and Star Wars Night on May 9.
