Federal Grand Jury Indicts Two Individuals in Assault on Turning Point USA Frontlines Reporter Savanah Hernandez

A federal grand jury has indicted two individuals in connection with the assault on Turning Point USA Frontlines reporter Savanah Hernandez that occurred on April 11 near the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis. The assault, captured on video and shared by Hernandez, prompted a swift response from Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet K. Dhillon. Hernandez expressed gratitude for the Department of Justice's quick action in pursuing justice for the attack.

Hernandez identified a father and daughter as being involved in the assault, where she was punched, shoved, and thrown to the ground by the angry mob. A video posted later showed the attack being planned, with the father instructing his daughter to blow a whistle in Hernandez's ear before the assault. Blowing a whistle into someone's ear can cause hearing loss by damaging the cochlea, according to medical experts.

The indictment against the two individuals involved in the assault is still sealed, with no official confirmation on which of the three attackers are being indicted. Hernandez expressed her appreciation for the DOJ's efforts in addressing the incident and seeking justice for the assault.

The Department of Justice and Hernandez have not yet responded to requests for comment on the matter. The investigation and legal proceedings regarding the assault on Savanah Hernandez are ongoing, with the hope of holding those responsible for the attack accountable for their actions.
