Meet the Crew-13 Astronauts: NASA's Next Mission to the International Space Station with SpaceX
NASA has announced the next group of astronauts who will be heading to the International Space Station as part of the Crew-13 mission in collaboration with SpaceX. The mission is scheduled for September and will mark the first spaceflight with astronauts since the Artemis II mission. The International Space Station has been a hub for scientific research in low-Earth orbit for over 25 years, hosting astronauts from various countries. The Crew-13 astronauts will travel to the ISS aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule launched by a Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The four astronauts selected for the mission are NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, European Space Agency's Sophie Adenot, and Russian cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. They will replace the current Crew-12 mission members on the ISS.
