Disney Cruise Line Expands Presence in San Diego with Extended Agreement

Disney Cruise Line has signed an extended agreement with the Port of San Diego, which will significantly increase Disney's sailings out of the port. The agreement, valid through at least 2031, grants Disney non-exclusive priority access to the North and South berths at the B Street terminal. This move supports Disney's long-term growth and economic contribution to the region.

With this extended agreement, Disney Cruise Line anticipates welcoming over one million passengers through the port during the agreement's term. Currently, the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder sail out of San Diego at specific times of the year, offering voyages to ports of call in California and Mexico.

By 2031, Disney Cruise Line plans to expand its fleet to a total of 13 ships. The recently launched Disney Adventure and the upcoming Disney Believe in 2027 are part of this expansion. Additionally, a fifth Wish-class ship will set sail from Japan in 2029, followed by the introduction of a new class of smaller ships.
