As a devoted member of the BTS ARMY since 2019, I was ecstatic to receive an invitation to the opening night of the Arirang World Tour in Goyang, South Korea. With the help of Delta Airlines, I embarked on a weeklong journey leading up to the concert. From early morning flights to exploring Seoul's vibrant neighborhoods, every moment was filled with anticipation and excitement.
Starting my journey at Nashville International Airport, I boarded my first flight to Minneapolis, where I indulged in coffee and mimosas at the Delta Lounge before settling into a luxurious first-class pod for a 16-hour flight to Incheon Airport. Upon arrival in South Korea, navigating customs and public transit was a breeze, thanks to English signage and user-friendly kiosks.
Checking into the Moxy Seoul Insadong, located in the heart of the Jongno neighborhood, I immersed myself in the vibrant culture of Seoul. From exploring historical landmarks like Bukchon Hanok Village to indulging in street food at pochas, every moment in Seoul was a delightful experience. Museum visits, trendy shopping districts, and scenic cherry blossom walks added to the excitement of the trip.
As the concert day approached, the anticipation reached a fever pitch. Traveling to Goyang for the Arirang World Tour kickoff, the city was ablaze with BTS-themed decorations and fanfare. The merch process, exclusive tees, and star-studded audience added to the electrifying atmosphere. Finally, as BTS took the stage for the Arirang World Tour, the energy was palpable, with fans eagerly soaking in every moment of the performance.
