The Indiana Court of Appeals has recently reduced the prison sentence of a 70-year-old man from Gary who was involved in a kidnapping and rape case. The incident took place in front of Michael Jackson's childhood home, where the man abducted a father and daughter tourist duo, leading to the assault of the teenage girl. Early voting hours have been scheduled for Lake County voters starting April 7, with varying times throughout the week until May 4. Additionally, early voting hours have been set for Porter County voters at specific times and days during the same period. LaPorte County voters can also participate in early voting at designated times and days, starting from April 7.
