007: First Light - Lana Del Rey's New Bond Theme and Game Details
Lana Del Rey has released a new track titled 'First Light', which will be featured as the theme song for the upcoming James Bond video game 007: First Light. The game, developed by IO Interactive, will explore an original origin story for the iconic character of 007, with Patrick Gibson playing James Bond. The star-studded cast includes Lenny Kravitz, Priyanga Burford, Alastair Mackenzie, Kiera Lester, Noemie Nakai, and Lennie James. The game is set to launch on May 27 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version delayed until later this year.
The official Bond theme song 'First Light' was created by Lana Del Rey in collaboration with veteran Bond composer David Arnold. Lana Del Rey had previously written a Bond theme for the 2015 film 'Spectre', but the song 'Writing's On The Wall' by Sam Smith was chosen instead.
