Adele Tribute Show by Local Musician Amanda Bentley Takes Okanagan by Storm

A local musician from the Okanagan region is making waves with a new theatre production honoring the iconic singer Adele. Amanda Bentley, a Penticton native with a rich musical background, is set to showcase her show titled "This is Adele: A Tribute to Adele" at various venues in the valley this spring. Accompanied by a talented six-piece band comprised of local artists, Bentley is excited to embark on this new chapter in her 30-year career.

The debut performance of "This is Adele" will take place at Kelowna Community Theatre on Thursday, May 28, followed by shows in Penticton at Cleland Theatre on Thursday, June 11, and in Oliver at Venables Theatre on Saturday, June 13. Bentley, a former Miss Penticton, decided to shift her focus to theatre productions to strike a better balance between work and family life after years of performing in different settings.

Inspired by a moment of realization that she could embody Adele's powerful vocals, Bentley has assembled a top-notch group of musicians from the Okanagan to create a world-class show. Co-produced by Nicole Richard, the production has evolved into a "girl power project," highlighting the strength of female representation in the industry. The show promises to showcase Bentley's vocal prowess and musical talent while capturing the emotional depth of Adele's music.

With a mix of powerful ballads and anthems, Bentley encourages audience members to dress up in elegant attire to fully immerse themselves in the experience. Whether in gowns or sweatpants, Bentley wants attendees to embrace their fabulous selves and enjoy the tribute to Adele in a theatrical and engaging manner. Don't miss the opportunity to witness this captivating performance that celebrates the music of one of the world's most renowned voices.
