El Paso County to Honor BTS with 'Estimado Amigo' Award and 'BTS Weekend' Celebration

BTS is set to be honored by El Paso County with a special award and the declaration of "BTS Weekend" to celebrate their upcoming concert in the city. Judge Ricardo Samaniego will present the K-pop group with the "Estimado Amigo" award at the Enrique Moreno County Courthouse on April 27. The award is a mini replica of the Lady Justice statue and is given to commend leadership, services, or achievements. Unfortunately, BTS will not be present to receive the award, but it will be accepted by representatives from BoraPaso.com and various county departments.

Fans are encouraged to attend the ceremony wearing purple, the color associated with BTS, and take pictures with the award. The event will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the Alicia Chacon Commissioner Courtroom in the Enrique Moreno County Courthouse. BTS, also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan / Beyond the Scene, is a popular South Korean boy band known for their self-produced music and dynamic performances. They will be kicking off their world tour in April and will be performing in various countries, including El Paso on May 2 and 3 at the Sun Bowl.

Tickets for the concert went on sale on LiveNation.com on January 24. The County is excited to celebrate BTS's visit to El Paso and invites fans to join in the festivities. Don't miss the opportunity to be part of "BTS Weekend" and show your support for the K-pop sensation.
