Jaafar Jackson, the nephew of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, showcases his musical talent in the latest trailer for the upcoming movie "Michael." The trailer, released by Lionsgate on April 8, features Jaafar singing iconic hits like "Beat It," "Thriller," "Billie Jean," and "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough," paying tribute to his uncle's legendary career in pop music. The film will delve into Michael Jackson's life in the 2000s, with Jaafar making his acting debut under the direction of Antoine Fuqua.

Jaafar, the son of Jermaine Jackson, a member of The Jackson 5 and brother of Michael Jackson, takes on the role of his famous uncle in the biopic. The star-studded cast includes Miles Teller as Jackson's lawyer and manager John Branca, Colman Domingo as Michael's father and manager Joe, Nia Long as Michael's mother Katherine, and Kat Graham as Motown star Diana Ross, among others. Jaafar shared in an Interview magazine conversation with Teller that he kept his casting a secret from his family for a year after landing the role.

The actor described his initial viewing of the movie as a unique experience, noting that he was able to fully immerse himself in the story upon subsequent viewings.
