Zayn has unveiled a new single titled "Sideways," a soulful R&B track from his upcoming album, Konnakol, set to be released on April 17 through Mercury Records. The song delves into themes of lost love, with Zayn reminiscing about intimate moments shared with a past partner. Konnakol follows Zayn's previous album, Room Under the Stairs, which he collaborated on with Dave Cobb. The lead single from Konnakol, "Die for Me," was released last month, and the album was co-produced by Zayn and Malay, who previously worked with him on Mind of Mine and Icarus Falls.
In a statement, Zayn explained that Konnakol is more than just creating percussive sounds with the voice; it holds a deeper meaning that resonates with his heritage and personal journey in music. Zayn will be hitting the road for the Konnakol Tour, a 31-date global tour starting on May 12 in Manchester, England, and spanning cities like London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and São Paulo before concluding on Nov. 20 in Miami at Kaseya Center.
