Florida Woman Pleads Not Guilty to Attempted Murder of Singer Rihanna in Los Angeles Mansion Shooting

A woman from Florida pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of singer Rihanna after allegedly firing gunshots at the musician's Los Angeles mansion. Ivana Lisette Ortiz, 35, appeared in court wearing prison attire and faces 14 charges, including attempted murder and assault with a semiautomatic firearm. The judge maintained her bail at $1.875 million and prohibited her from working as a licensed speech therapist in California during the case.

Ortiz is accused of driving to Rihanna's home in Los Angeles and firing around 20 gunshots while the singer, her partner A$AP Rocky, and their children were inside. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Prosecutors highlighted the severity of the situation, stating that it could have resulted in multiple homicides. Ortiz was apprehended shortly after the shooting with a rifle and a wig in her possession.

Rihanna, a Grammy-winning artist known for hits like "We Found Love" and "Umbrella," has not commented on the incident. The case against Ortiz could lead to a life sentence if she is convicted. The attempted attack on the singer's home has raised concerns about the safety and security of celebrities in Los Angeles.
