PHL Food & Shops Aims for Guinness World Record: Longest Line of Cheesesteaks on National Cheesesteak Day

Philadelphia International Airport's PHL Food & Shops is aiming to break a Guinness World Record for the "Longest Line of Cheesesteaks" on National Cheesesteak Day. Participating restaurants like Chickie’s & Pete’s, Geno’s Steaks, Jim’s South St. Famous Cheesesteaks, Passyunk Steaks, and Tony Luke’s will join forces to create a continuous line of authentic Philadelphia cheesesteaks in the connector area between Terminals B and C. FOX 29 will be live at the airport to capture the potential record-breaking moment, and a representative from Guinness World Records will be on-site to verify the final count. Passengers passing through PHL on that day will have the opportunity to enjoy the cheesesteaks, with any leftovers being donated to Philabundance.
