Food Safety Alert: Recall of White Oaks Pastures Grassfed Ground Beef Due to Metal Contamination

A public health alert has been issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) for a ground beef product called "White Oaks Pastures, Radically Traditional Farming, Grassfed Ground Beef" due to potential contamination with metal. The ground beef was produced on February 26, 2026 and was distributed to retail locations in Washington D.C., Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The issue was identified after receiving two consumer complaints, but no injuries have been reported. Consumers are advised not to consume the product and to either discard it or return it to the store of purchase.
