Popularity Trends of Celebrity-Inspired Baby Names in the U.S.

The name "Drake" saw a surge in popularity around 2010, reaching its peak as the 196th most popular name for baby boys. However, its popularity has since declined, with the name ranking 661st in 2024.

Swedish pop star Zara Larsson has gained popularity in recent years, coinciding with a slight increase in the popularity of the name "Zara" for baby girls. The name reached its highest ranking in 2022 as the 201st most popular.

The name "Harry" has never been highly popular in the U.S., with its peak year being 2001 when it ranked 501st for baby boys. As of 2024, the name was the 777th most popular for baby boys.

Despite its peak popularity in the 2000s, the name "Taylor" for baby girls has been on a decline, ranking 353rd in 2024. The name has also become less popular for baby boys since 2009.

The name "Bruno," associated with Bruno Mars, has never been very popular for baby boys in the U.S., with its highest ranking being 623rd in 2022.

The name "Ariana" remains popular for baby girls, ranking within the top 100 names. Its most popular year was 2014 when it ranked 37th.

The name "Benito," associated with Bad Bunny, has only ranked in the top 1,000 names three times, with its most popular year being 2000 at 895th.

"Miley" became popular for baby girls in 2007, reaching its peak in 2008 as the 129th most popular. The name experienced a decline in popularity in 2014 but has been rising since 2023.

The name "Benson," possibly influenced by pop star Benson Boone, saw a rise in popularity in 2024, ranking 435th for baby boys.

Despite Sabrina Carpenter's rise in the music industry, the name "Sabrina" has become less popular, ranking 357th for baby girls in 2024.

The name "Beyoncé" has only appeared in the top 1,000 baby girl names once, in 2001, at 700th most popular.
