Demi Lovato's Disney Channel Stars' 'Mount Rushmore' and the Evolution of Disney Channel Talent

Demi Lovato recently shared her own version of a Disney Channel stars' "Mount Rushmore," inspired by Raven-Symoné's picks. Lovato agreed with Symoné's choices of Raven, Hilary Duff, Shia LaBeouf, and Lee Thompson Young, the latter being recognized for his role in The Famous Jett Jackson. Lovato also mentioned the Mickey Mouse Club alumni like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera but questioned their impact on Disney Channel's transformation.

While discussing the potential inclusion of the Mickey Mouse Club cast, Lovato highlighted Raven and Duff's significant contributions to Disney Channel's success. She acknowledged the influence of stars like Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus, suggesting a separate Rushmore lineup for them. Lovato hinted at a second tier of Disney Channel stars, including the Jonas Brothers, Miley, Selena, and herself, followed by newer talents like Zendaya and Sabrina Carpenter.

When asked about the top spot on the secondary Rushmore for the Jonas Brothers, Lovato playfully avoided choosing between Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas. She shared a laugh when Joe was suggested as the top pick, recalling their past relationship and their recent reunion on the set of Camp Rock 3, a project produced by Lovato.
