Michael Jackson Biopic Soundtrack: A Musical Journey Through the King of Pop's Career

Columbia Records is set to launch the official soundtrack for the Michael Jackson biopic on April 24. The soundtrack features a 13-track collection that includes songs from The Jackson 5, The Jacksons, and Michael Jackson's solo career. Iconic tracks from albums like Off the Wall and Thriller, such as "Billie Jean," "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough," "Beat It," and "Human Nature," are included in the compilation.
Both physical copies and digital versions of the soundtrack will be available in stores and on streaming platforms upon release. The album kicks off with early Jackson 5 recordings like "I'll Be There," "Never Can Say Goodbye," and "Who's Lovin' You." The collection also features concert recordings from the 1981 U.S. Tour, including a medley of hits like "I Want You Back," "ABC," "The Love You Save," and "Ben."
The second part of the soundtrack focuses on Michael Jackson's solo material, including songs like "Thriller," "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'," and a 2012 remaster of "Bad." A live medley of "Workin' Day and Night" is also included, with a runtime of just three minutes, making it the shortest track on the album.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, the Michael Jackson biopic stars Jaafar Jackson as the lead, alongside Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Miles Teller, Juliano Krue Valdi, and Colman Domingo. The film follows Jackson's journey from his early days as the Jackson 5 frontman to his evolution into a solo artist and global superstar.
Lionsgate will release the movie in theaters nationwide on April 24, coinciding with the soundtrack's launch date. Fans can immerse themselves in the music and story of the legendary Michael Jackson through this exciting biopic and its accompanying soundtrack.
