Shahid Kapoor, known for his role in Vishal Bhardwaj's film 'O Romeo', has started filming for the crime thriller series Farzi 2 by Raj and DK. The second season of the series was officially announced by the makers to celebrate Farzi's 3-year milestone. Shahid recently shared some behind-the-scenes photos from the sets, indicating the beginning of the shoot. He also posted pictures with Vijay Sethupathi, who played a Special Task Force officer in the first season.

Recently, Shahid Kapoor posted a selfie with Vijay Sethupathi on his Instagram stories from the Farzi 2 sets. The photo shows them both wearing thick-framed black glasses and smiling for the camera. Shahid also shared several BTS photos from the shoot, including one where he is seated with a car in the background, another with Bhuvan Arora and DK, and a third where the director is giving instructions to the team. The series is back in action, as Shahid captioned the photos.

Farzi, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in February 2023, received critical acclaim for its engaging plot and performances. The show featured Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, and Kavya Thapar in key roles. In the series, Shahid plays Sunny, a con man aspiring to wealth through counterfeit money, but his plans are disrupted when a determined task force officer (Vijay Sethupathi) enters the scene. Farzi marked Shahid's debut in an OTT series and the first collaboration between Raj-DK and the actor.
