Zara Larsson Sets the Record Straight: No Plans to Join Fifth Harmony

Zara Larsson, a successful solo artist, once faced rumors of potentially joining Fifth Harmony to replace Camila Cabello. In a recent interview, Larsson made it clear that she has no interest in being part of a girl group and denied any offer to join Fifth Harmony. She expressed her admiration for girl groups but emphasized her preference for a solo career, stating that she would always want to be front and center like Beyoncé if she were in a group. Despite the rumors, Larsson fondly recalled touring with Fifth Harmony in 2014 and highlighted the positive memories from that experience.
Fifth Harmony, originally formed on The X Factor USA in 2012, consisted of Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Normani Kordei. After Cabello's departure in 2016, the group continued as a four-piece before announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2018. In a surprise reunion in 2025, the remaining members (excluding Cabello) came together for a special performance during a Jonas Brothers concert in Dallas, Texas. Larsson's time touring with Fifth Harmony left a lasting impression on her, despite her decision to pursue a solo path in the music industry.
