MS-13 Gang Member Wanted for Killing Pastor Apprehended by FBI: The Story of Danny Antonio Granados-Garcia

A suspected member of the MS-13 gang, wanted for allegedly killing a pastor in El Salvador, was apprehended by the FBI. Danny Antonio Granados-Garcia, a Salvadoran national, had an active arrest warrant in El Salvador for aggravated homicide. The FBI New Haven office confirmed the arrest in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Granados-Garcia was identified as a fugitive with an active El Salvadorian arrest warrant and an Interpol Blue Notice for aggravated homicide with the help of FBI LEGAT San Salvador. The suspect was wanted for the murder of a pastor, who was related to an El Salvadorian police officer.

After the arrest by the FBI, Granados-Garcia was handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for his repatriation to El Salvador to face charges for his crimes. FBI New Haven Special Agent in Charge P.J. O’Brien emphasized the violent nature of MS-13 members and reiterated the commitment of law enforcement to pursue justice for the victims of their crimes.
