Former NYPD Officers Indicted for Alleged Brothel Robbery and Assault

Two former New York City police officers are facing federal charges after allegedly stealing a brothel key and robbing and groping a sex worker. Justin McMillan and Justin Colon, former patrol officers, have been indicted on charges of felony conspiracy against rights and willfully depriving an individual of her constitutional rights in connection with the July 2024 incident. Prosecutors claim that the officers responded to a report of prostitution in Queens, shut off their bodycams, took a key and cash from a woman, and later returned to the residence where they stole money and groped the woman. The officers failed to report the incident and have since resigned from the department. They are set to be arraigned in Brooklyn federal court.
