The incident occurred at the mansion where Rihanna resides with rapper A$AP Rocky and their three children. One of the bullets struck the house's wall while Rihanna was present inside. The shooting resulted in bullet holes in the gate and an RV parked outside the property. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the shooting incident in the Beverly Crest neighborhood around 1:15 p.m. on Sunday. A weapon was recovered during Ortiz's arrest.
