JENNIE's Ruby (The Complete Edition): A Deep Dive into the Extended Album
It has been a year since JENNIE from BLACKPINK dropped her debut solo album, Ruby. The album has now been re-released as Ruby (The Complete Edition) with additional tracks. The extended edition features 21 songs, including remixes of "like JENNIE" and exclusive JENNIE Only Audio tracks that were previously only available on physical copies. The new version kicks off with an energetic remix of "like JENNIE" and an EDM mix that elevates the original's energy.
The JENNIE Only Audio tracks consist of a pop ballad, an R&B burner, a soul cover, and a slow jam. These tracks originally featured collaborations with Dua Lipa, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Childish Gambino, and Kali Uchis. Several of these songs made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart upon their initial release, with "ExtraL" reaching No. 75, "Handlebars" at No. 80, and "Love Hangover" at No. 96. "like JENNIE" also charted at No. 83.
Recently, JENNIE collaborated on a remix of Tame Impala's "Dracula," adding her vocals to the song. She will be performing at various festivals this summer, including Governors Ball in New York, Mad Cool in Madrid, Spain, and Summer Sonic in Japan.
