Savers Recalls Rihanna Perfumes Due to Prohibited Chemicals: How to Get a Refund

A major bargain chain, Savers, has issued a recall for several Rihanna perfumes. The affected products include Rihanna Kiss 15ml EDP and Rihanna RiRi 15ml EDP. These perfumes were pulled from shelves because they contain prohibited chemicals, hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde and butylphenyl methylpropional, known as Lyral and Lilial in the trade market. Lyral is banned in the UK due to its potential to cause skin allergies, while Lilial is considered a reprotoxic substance, suspected to harm the reproductive system and unborn children. The ban on products containing Lilial was implemented in 2022.
Savers has urged customers who purchased the affected Rihanna perfumes to return them to the store for a full refund. The recall notice specifies the barcodes of the recalled products and advises customers to seek assistance from store teams if they are unsure about their purchase. The retailer apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the recall.
If you have purchased the Rihanna Kiss 15ml EDP or Rihanna RiRi 15ml EDP from Savers, please return them to the store for a full refund. The recall is in place due to the presence of prohibited chemicals in the perfumes. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
