Chloe Kim's Olympic Journey: From Funny Mix-Ups to Silver Medal Glory

American snowboarder Chloe Kim recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and had a funny mix-up with guest host Pink. Kim confessed that she used to listen to Pink's music while snowboarding as a kid and even sang a line from Kelly Clarkson's song Stronger, thinking it was Pink's. Pink corrected her, leading to a lighthearted moment between the two. Despite some online criticism, others defended Kim, saying the song she sang sounded like something Pink would have made.

Kim's road to the Winter Olympics was not without challenges, as she tore her labrum in her left shoulder weeks before the competition. Despite the injury, she won silver in the women's snowboard halfpipe final, becoming the first female snowboarder to win three medals in consecutive games. Kim shared that the silver medal was especially meaningful to her due to her injury and the uncertainty of her ability to compete.

In a post-Olympics interview with Time Magazine, Kim discussed the pressure she faces before competitions and expressed pride in her fellow competitor Choi Ga-on. Kim also provided an update on her injury during her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, revealing that she needed surgery but had postponed it due to the recovery time required.
