Manchester Resident Accused of Attempted Murder of Federal Officer Near U.S.-Canada Border
A Manchester resident has been accused of attempting to murder a federal officer in connection with a shooting near the U.S.-Canada border in Pittsburg over the weekend. Blu Zeke Daly, also known as Cullan Zeke Daly, 26, is facing charges of attempted murder of a federal officer and assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon. The incident occurred when a Border Patrol agent encountered Daly driving alone in Stewartstown on Saturday evening. Daly fled when asked about using other names, leading to a pursuit by the agent. Daly later arrived at a closed border crossing in northern Pittsburg early Sunday morning, where he allegedly fired at the agent before being shot back and apprehended. Daly is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital under guard, while the FBI is overseeing the investigation.
