Recall Alert: USDA Issues Safety Advisory for Bremer Family Size Italian Style Meatballs

A safety advisory has been issued by the United States Department of Agriculture and the Food Safety Inspection Service, recalling nearly 10,000 pounds of frozen meatballs due to potential contamination with metal fragments. The concern is that these metal pieces may have been included in some packages of the ready-to-eat meatballs, which were produced in July 2025. The recalled product is the 32-ounce packages of "Bremer Family Size Italian Style Meatballs" from Rosina Food Products in West Seneca, New York, containing approximately 64 meatballs per pack. The affected products bear the establishment number "EST. 4286B" inside the USDA mark of inspection and have a 15-month shelf-life. These meatballs were distributed by Aldi stores nationwide, and consumers are advised not to consume the product but to return it to the point of purchase for a refund and replacement.
