Daft Punk's Legacy: Honoring the Past with 'Human After All' Music Video and Vinyl Collection

Five years ago, Daft Punk announced their breakup through a video, marking the end of the French electronic duo. Despite their disbandment, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo continue to honor their iconic past. Recently, they unveiled a new music video for their 2005 single "Human After All," featuring scenes from their 2006 sci-fi film, Electroma, edited by Cedric Hervet. The video showcases Daft Punk driving through the desert and a residential town where everyone wears helmets, mirroring their iconic look.

Last year, Daft Punk collaborated with Fortnite and released a vinyl collection of remixes of their album "Human After All" to commemorate its 20th anniversary. The remixes were done by artists like Justice, Soulwax, Basement Jaxx, Erol Alkan, and the Juan Maclean. "Human After All" was Daft Punk's third full-length album, followed by a long hiatus until the release of their final album, "Random Access Memories," in 2013. The music video for "Human After All" captures the essence of Daft Punk's unique style and creativity, showcasing their enduring influence in the electronic music scene.
