Reward Increased to Over $200,000 for Information on Abduction of Nancy Guthrie, Mother of Today Co-Anchor Savannah Guthrie
The reward for information on the abduction of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, has been increased to over $200,000, with a $100,000 donation boosting the reward to $102,500. The FBI is also offering a $100,000 reward for information related to the case. Nancy was last seen on Jan. 31 and believed to have been kidnapped on Feb. 1. Investigators are analyzing biological evidence found at her residence, with DNA profiles currently under lab analysis. The FBI released surveillance footage showing a masked and armed person tampering with a Nest camera at Nancy's front door on the morning of her kidnapping. DNA evidence found on gloves near her home did not yield any matches in the national DNA database. No suspects have been identified in the case. Nancy's neighbors have shown support by tying yellow ribbons around trees and mailboxes near her home. Savannah Guthrie has been in Arizona with her family and has made public pleas for her mother's safe return.
