Chancellor Urges Prince Andrew to Address Epstein Scandal: Police Forces Investigate Allegations

The Chancellor has urged Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to provide more information about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, stating that he should speak up for the victims. Rachel Reeves emphasized the importance of Andrew addressing the questions surrounding his involvement in the treatment of young women and girls associated with Epstein. Multiple police forces are currently reviewing details from the extensive Epstein files released recently, including Essex Police, who are looking into private flights to and from Stansted Airport.

Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown highlighted the concerning information from the Epstein files, indicating how Epstein allegedly used Stansted Airport to transport girls from Eastern European countries. However, Stansted Airport clarified that they do not oversee passenger arrangements on privately-operated flights. Surrey Police is investigating an allegation from an FBI report regarding child abuse involving Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell, while Norfolk Police and Bedfordshire Police are also reviewing related documents.

The National Police Chiefs’ Council has established a national group to assist UK police forces in assessing allegations linked to the Epstein files. Thames Valley Police previously confirmed they were examining claims that Andrew shared confidential reports with Epstein during his time as the UK’s trade envoy. It is crucial for Andrew to address these issues and provide more information to help shed light on the Epstein scandal and support the victims.
