Juliette Bryant's Harrowing Encounter with Jeffrey Epstein: A Survivor's Story
Juliette Bryant shared her experience of meeting Jeffrey Epstein when she was a 20-year-old student and part-time model in Cape Town, South Africa. She was introduced to Epstein by a girl who described him as "American royalty" and mentioned his connections to Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, and Chris Tucker. Bryant's brief interaction with the men at a restaurant led to Epstein expressing interest in her modeling portfolio and arranging for her to travel to the United States.
Epstein quickly facilitated Bryant's visa and travel arrangements to the U.S., which surprised her due to the usual difficulty of obtaining visas in South Africa. Emails from the Department of Justice revealed a pattern of Epstein assisting young women, including those from Eastern Europe, in securing visas to come to the U.S. Bryant soon found herself heading to Epstein's private island in the Caribbean, where she was sexually assaulted after realizing she had been deceived about the modeling opportunity.
Following her traumatic experience, Bryant was trafficked by Epstein for several years. She eventually received compensation through the Epstein Victims' Compensation Program and a settlement with JP Morgan Chase. Flight logs showed that former President Bill Clinton, along with Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker, traveled to Africa on Epstein's plane in 2002 for a Clinton Foundation trip focused on HIV/AIDS and economic development.
In a sworn declaration to the House Oversight Committee, Clinton stated that Epstein had offered the use of his private plane to support the Clinton Foundation's philanthropic work between 2002 and 2003. Clinton denied visiting Epstein's private island and claimed to have had no contact with Epstein for over a decade before his arrest in 2019.
