The 34-year-old singer discussed the impact of a copyright lawsuit he faced in 2015, which prompted him to change his communication habits. Sheeran revealed that he hasn't owned a mobile phone since the lawsuit, opting to communicate solely through email. The experience of revisiting his old phone for legal purposes inspired a song called Old Phone, which he performed live during his Loop Tour stop in Sydney.
