Safe Play: Athletes at Winter Olympics Embrace Condom Culture
Athletes at the Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina have been taking advantage of the free condoms provided at the athletes' accommodation. The International Olympic Committee revealed that 10,000 condoms have been used by the 2,800 athletes participating in the Games. This high demand for condoms has been a common occurrence at previous Winter Olympics as well, with athletes quickly grabbing them up. Mialitiana Clerc, a 24-year-old alpine skier from Madagascar, shared her observations from the Beijing Winter Olympics, where condoms were also in high demand and readily available at the athletes' residences. The Olympic Athletes' Villages are known for being a hub of sexual activity among the competitors.
