A man from Bonifay, Florida, is facing multiple felony charges after an incident of road rage led to his arrest. Blackie Alvarez, 33, was taken into custody by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly brandishing a handgun at another driver during a road rage altercation. The incident occurred on U.S. 331 in DeFuniak Springs, where Alvarez was reported to have pointed a firearm at drivers.

Upon responding to the report, law enforcement officers located Alvarez's white Ford Explorer and observed him removing a black handgun from his waistband and placing it on the vehicle. The victims reported that Alvarez had been speeding, honking, and eventually stopping in front of their vehicle to point the firearm at them.

Despite the investigation, Alvarez declined to cooperate with the authorities. He was subsequently charged with multiple felonies, including false imprisonment, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, unlawful carry of a concealed weapon, and driving without a license.
