A total of 456,287 vehicles are affected by the recall, as a result of improperly designed trailer tow modules that can cause brake lights to malfunction and trailer brakes to fail. While official recall letters will be sent out to affected owners after March 24, individuals can also reach out to the company directly at 800-853-1403 for more information. The recall has been assigned the internal recall number 03D by the NHTSA.

In conclusion, if you own a Chrysler truck or SUV from the specified model years, it is important to be aware of this recall and take the necessary steps to address the issue promptly. Contact Chrysler or your local dealership for further assistance in ensuring the safety and functionality of your vehicle's trailer lighting and brake systems.
